    How I quit in 1991: …
How I quit in 1991: I had the flu for a week, and couldn’t inhale because my lungs were too sensitive. But I still wanted the nicotine, so I took a mouth full of smoke and blew it out my nose. I smoked that way until I was over the flu. Then I continued smoking that way, smoking as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted. And I gradually tapered down to one cigarette a week, and then none. And I never had a desire to go back to smoking.

Day 3 and I feel the nicotine coming through my pores and skin. I can actually take a deep breath and smile knowing the all that poison is escaping. Everyday it gets easier and easier. I don’t want it and I don’t need it. Read the book. It works!!

    I quit four days …
I quit four days ago and I can feel the benefits already. When I get uncomfortable I drink a big glass of water, which is good for me, not fattening, and occupies my mouth for a minute. That helps. Getting healthier every hour, that’s what I tell myself. Good-bye to the poison of nicotine!
